Jack Terpins is the current president of the Latin American Jewish Congress. He is the father of Sertoes Rally race car drivers, Michel and Rodrigo Terpins. In addition, both brothers are very successful entrepreneurs. Like their father, the brothers are extremely passionate about what they do for a living. And all three are the most passionate when it comes to competitive sports. Jack was at one time a famous basketball star and served as the Sports Director for the president of Hebrew in 1991. Michel and Rodrigo have both been in competition in the rally since 2002.
At that time they founded the Bull Sertoes Rally Team. In 2012 saw the brothers founded the Mitsubishi Triton team. The Terpins drove as a duo for the first several of their rallies, but have driven with other partners the past few years. For the 22nd edition of 2014, Rodrigo and his partnered placed eighth overall. During the 24th edition of 2016, Michel drove with Maykel Justo. Justo started his competitive career at the rally by competing in its truck category before becoming Michel’s partner in the car category. For the past few editions of the rally, Rodrigo had partnered with Fabricio Bianchini for the races. Check out Terra to see more.
During the most recent 25th edition, the two attained an overall standing of third place. Michel and Maykel continued to drive together during the same edition. Although they came far behind Rodrigo’s team, the two also had a good showing at that edition of the rally. They would have placed better but experienced some car difficulties in the middle of the race. It was a tricky course for sure, filled with obstacles and lots of rocks. The Bull Sertoes team has also had philanthropic dealings, donating money to buy medicine and water filters in needy areas in Brazil.
